What will the world we work in be like tomorrow? The good healthcare group (ghg) has opened a new branch at Potsdam’s railway station. The premises were conceived by interior design studios Kayserstudio and muesiemue. Over 150 healthcare specialists now have attractive offices over floorspace of 1800 square meters that offer plenty of scope for spontaneous meet-ups.

The new rooms in the open-space concept stand apart for their natural and sustainable materials, such as recycled wood and bold splashes of color in bright orange. The interior is designed to foster creativity.

Wilkhahn’s versatile seating is a perfect match with the agile concept and accentuate the rooms with fresh colors.

At a glance:

The goal: To focus on people

The good healthcare group’s business model is to provide sophisticated communications solutions between the pharmaceuticals industry, healthcare professionals, and patients. And it wanted the new office spaces for its employees to be equally exceptional.

“The spotlight was on people’s well-being, combined with a superb design and aesthetic,” comments Florian Münich, CEO and interior designer at muesiemue when asked to explain the innovative concept.

Innovative concepts for office workers

Appreciative and motivating corporate culture is only possible if the focus is on people’s needs, talents, and skills.

And this is the goal that our human-centered workplace pursues. It’s all about creating spaces with an emotive, inspiring appeal. The design doesn’t just embrace functional aspects, it also acts as a point of reference and allows employees to identify with the company they work for.

Real responsibility for the environment

In addition to an attractive design and healthy workspaces, actively taking responsibility for the environment is a key to an office space that recognizes the worth of the world around it. Therefore, Wilkhahn’s AT Mesh office chair is a good choice for the new ghg office. It stands apart for its appealing design, healthy and stimulating three-dimensional range of motion and ecological considerations. Some 80 percent of the mesh on the backrest frame is made of recycled PET bottles.

Modern working environment with feel-good factor

The floor plan is divided into four sections, which are accessed via two separate entrances. While visitors are guided to the center of the company, employees come into the office via a kitchen with a residential sensibility – as if they were coming home from the garden.  Here they can meet colleagues for a brief chat before the working day starts or finished.

The Pep upholstered chair adds splashes of color

The feel-good factor of the customized, ergonomic workspaces is magnified by a tailored color concept that is echoed in the seating. The Pep upholstered chair fuses a clear design language with superb comfort and a resimercial appeal.

The die-cast aluminum, four-star base frame with a swivel function lends it a lightweight, stylish look – underscored by the bold colors of the covers.

Pep is ideal for meetings and dining areas, or at desks. The upholstered chair, made of molded plywood, looks dynamic, has flair and blends in well with the new agile working environment at ghg Potsdam.
